Can a Canon Powershot S400 save photos without a CF Card installed? My boss was told that she could shoot pictures with her Canon Powershot S400 without the CF card because the photos will be stored in the internal drive. She was also told that the pictures could be retrieved via a USB cable. From what I can tell this isn't true. Whatever photo program I use I get the message that there are no detectable compatable files. So I am assuming that you can't store images without the CF Card.
